  • Tara Helps Raise £50,000 For Children's Charity - Tara has just sang at a gala fundraising banquet hosted by BBC presenter, Diane Louise Jordan and her songs included one that she had written specially for the event. During the appeal that followed, almost £50,000 was donated, along with pledges that may take the amount into six figures. Tara is an advocate for the charity Toybox that helps street children in Latin American countries and special guest on the night was the Ambassador of El Salvador, His Excellency Werner Romero.

  • Tara Performs at The BBC Club in London - 60 leading TV & Radio execs enjoyed an exclusive showcase performance by Tara Mathew. Without name dropping, the producers of many of the leading names in radio, along with heads of TV programming were all wowed by her performance, following which many partied on into the small hours. - Watch this space for developments!

  • Tara Turns Down National Newspaper Feature - Tara has just turned down a feature in a very well known national newspaper as they wanted to do a very raunchy photo shoot. - "Not the way I want to be portrayed" said Tara!
  • Tara Sparks Controversy On YouTube - Someone posted a recording of Tara singing Leona Lewis song 'Run' at a charity gig and it seems to have upset a few Leona fans. Note this is not an official (or professional) recording by Tara; it must have been uploaded by a fan. And for the record, Tara thinks Leona is a fantastic singer regardless of what some of Leona's fans are saying in their comments!
